Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

TopHomeMatch ("TopHomeMatch," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by PingAlpha, an Arizona LLC, located at 2820 S. Alma School Rd Ste 18 #553, Chandler, AZ 85286. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through tophomematch.com (the "Site"), how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

TopHomeMatch is a lead-generation service, not a contractor or home service provider. We collect homeowner project requests and sell each request to a single third-party lead-buying platform (the "Lead Buyer"), who decides how — and whether — to connect your request to a home service company. See our Terms of Use for how the service itself works.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us directly

When you submit a form on the Site, we collect:

• Contact details: first and last name, phone number, email address
• Project address: street address, city, state, ZIP code, property type
• Project details: service type, project scope, timing, budget range, preferred contact time, homeowner status, and other service-specific answers you select
• Your consent choices, including the timestamp and version of the consent language you agreed to (see Communications and consent)

Information collected automatically

When you browse the Site, we (and our analytics provider) automatically collect:

• Device and browser information, IP address, and general location inferred from it
• Pages viewed, links clicked, form steps completed or abandoned, and time spent on a page or form step
• Referring URL, campaign, and marketing-funnel identifiers (e.g. which page or ad brought you to the Site)

We do not knowingly collect payment card information, government ID numbers, or health information through the Site.

3. How we use your information

• To process and sell your project request to the Lead Buyer
• To operate, secure, and improve the Site, including understanding which pages and form steps work well and which don't
• To detect and prevent fraud, duplicate submissions, and abuse
• To communicate with you about your submission, if needed
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use

4. How we share and sell your information

Several state privacy laws define "sale" or "sharing" of personal information broadly enough that it covers what we do with your project request, so we're describing it plainly rather than using a narrower definition:

• The Lead Buyer. When you submit a project request, we sell it to a single Lead Buyer, along with your contact details, project address, and project answers. The Lead Buyer may further share your information with a home service company (a "Pro") in its own network. We don't control, and this Policy doesn't cover, what the Lead Buyer or a Pro does with your information after that point — review their privacy notice if one is provided to you.
• Service providers. We share information with vendors who help us run the Site and process leads on our behalf — for example, hosting, analytics, and lead-delivery infrastructure providers — under obligations to use it only to provide that service to us.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of TopHomeMatch, our users, or others.
• Business transfers. If TopHomeMatch is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell or share the automatically-collected browsing/analytics data described above to third parties for their own advertising purposes — that data is used internally, as described in Cookies, analytics, and tracking.

5. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information described above. To exercise any of these rights, submit a request through Your Privacy Choices, or email us directly at privacy@pingalpha.co. We won't discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Opt out of sale/sharing. To opt out before submitting a form, simply don't submit it — no information is sold until you do. If you've already submitted a request and want us to stop selling future requests associated with your information, or want an existing submission's information deleted from our systems (to the extent legally required), use Your Privacy Choices or email privacy@pingalpha.co with the subject line "Privacy Request."

Global Privacy Control (GPC). We automatically honor the GPC browser opt-out signal: if your browser or an extension sends it, we don't load analytics on the Site for you. Because submitting a project request through the form is a specific action you take to have that request sold to our Lead Buyer, a passive GPC signal doesn't cancel a request you've already chosen to submit — use Your Privacy Choices or the email opt-out above to stop future requests from being sold.

California residents. In the preceding 12 months, we've collected the categories of personal information described in Information we collect, used them for the purposes described in How we use your information, and disclosed them to the categories of parties described in How we share and sell your information. We don't sell or share sensitive personal information, and don't knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

6. Cookies, analytics, and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies (including local storage) to run the Site and to understand how visitors use it. We currently use PostHog for product analytics — this tracks things like page views, which form steps you complete, how long you spend on a step, and which marketing campaign referred you, so we can find and fix points where the funnel is confusing or broken. PostHog data is used internally and is not sold to third parties.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the Site work, but won't prevent you from submitting a project request.

7. Communications and consent

If you check the consent box on our project request form, you're giving TopHomeMatch and the single Lead Buyer your request is sold to permission to contact you by call, text/SMS, email, or prerecorded/automated message about your project — see the exact consent language on the request form at the time you submit. You can revoke that consent at any time by replying STOP to any text, telling a calling representative to stop, or emailing privacy@pingalpha.co. Message and data rates may apply.

This Privacy Policy covers how we handle the information you give us; it doesn't limit or replace the specific consent language shown on our forms, which controls for communications purposes.

8. Data retention

We retain submitted project requests and the associated consent records (checkbox state, consent-text version, timestamp, and IP address) for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, resolve disputes, and meet our legal and recordkeeping obligations — generally for 4 years from submission, unless a longer period is required by law. We retain automatically-collected analytics data for a shorter period, generally no longer than 24 months.

9. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us at privacy@pingalpha.co and we'll take steps to delete it.

11. Third-party links and the Lead Buyer's own practices

The Site may link to third-party sites, and the Lead Buyer or a Pro who contacts you operates under its own privacy practices, not this Policy. We encourage you to review their privacy notice directly if one is provided to you when they contact you.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
